Conversational Theology

A lovely few days at the end of last week in South Wales included a trip to Narberth.  We enjoyed browsing several very lovely shops and were remarkably restrained in our purchases.  And lunch at the deli was one of the nicest meals I’ve eaten in a long time.  If you’re in the area (though I can’t quite imagine why you would be, since it’s really in the middle of nowhere), it’s certainly worth a visit.

Possibly the highlight of the day was the sign on the way in to the town:  Narberth, twinned with Ludlow. Yup, that’s a real boost for international relations.  Ludlow must be all of 10 miles from the Welsh border. In fact, Wikipedia tells me that the name Ludlow derives from Welsh origins and that the town has been the seat of various Princes of Wales.

Conversational theology:

the art of learning deep truths about God and man in the company of friends, whilst drinking tea and eating cake.
