There really should be a clock in the Leaning Tower of Pisa

There’s no point in having the inclination if you haven’t got the time.

Awful Ros. Almost as bad as the joke I read this morning in an old Friday Flyer:

Q: Where does a military chaplain get his robes from?
a: The Army surplice store.

I would like to point out that the Friday Flyer does not ‘do’ bad jokes.

Ros, what was that term you discovered last year for people who read blogs without ever commenting? Lurkers? Loiterers? I think we may just have unearthed Pete Matthew.

Perhaps more scurrilous remarks about the Friday Flyer are in order? After all, we do believe in retributive justice, don’t we?

So the attack moves from a general comment about the flyer to a personal attack on me. I may not comment often, but i think big pete does appear on a regular basis.

Admittedly i tend to comment on the more facetious issues and leave it up to the rest of you to delve into the theological depths. But as one of the few of Ros’s regular bloggers who can still pull up a chair, grab a coffee and join the discussion in its original setting i feel it is the rest of you who are the loiterers, hanging onto something you left behind the day you walked out of the hallowed portals of Oak Hill!!

On a separate note; retributive justice? All the mentions of Neil Jeffers in the Friday Flyer were justified and not even close to libellous.

Well here goes then…

To err is human
but to ARRGHHH is pirate

Someone else who knows it’s official ‘Talk Like A Pirate Day’!!
